Monday morning, an 18-wheeler accident on US-181 crashed into another car, causing the Nueces Bay Causeway to be backed up according to KZTV, Action 10 News Corpus Christi.
Details of the Corpus Christi 18-wheeler crash
According to KZTV, Corpus Christi Police confirmed an 18-wheeler crash on US-181 in which the tractor-trailer 
crashed into another vehicle causing it to cross over 3 lanes of traffic, coming to a rest between the north and southbound lanes.
The 18-wheeler was left dangling after the crash. Medics attended to both the 18-wheeler driver and the driver of the car, and checked for injuries.
The 18-wheeler accident is still under investigation, but it is possible the driver of the 18-wheeler could be cited for failure to control its speed.
