The Texas Afterschool Centers on Education program, or Texas ACE Program, is a state funded, grant based system aimed at improving student performance, by providing supplemental enrichment programs such as after-school and summer school programs for students that may not otherwise have access to these activities.
After finding out the Texas ACE Program at Gibson Elementary was underfunded and in need of replenishment for the Summer of 2019, Mr. Patel and his staff gifted the program brand new soccer balls, basketballs, footballs, puzzles and boardgames. When asked what motivated his donation, Mr. Patel said, “We enjoy the relationship we have built with Gibson Elementary over the last couple years. If the kids at Gibson need anything, we are only a phone call away, anytime.”
