Julianne began the process of exchanging information with the driver of the Cadillac, when the driver of the Cadillac pushed Julianne from behind and began confronting her. The other driver then got in her vehicle and drove off. Luckily, the Ray High School student and her friend who was a passenger, remained calm and did not engage with the driver of the Cadillac. Julianne told the news she was startled but was not injured as a result of the altercation.
3 Tips to Follow
After a car accident, you may be worried and startled. Hopefully, everyone involved in the Corpus Christi car accident is respectful and courteous following the car wreck. Sometimes, you encounter difficult, even violent individuals who are not acting reasonably. If this ever happens, make sure to follow these tips:
1) Don’t get upset, stay calm- First, call the police. If you notice the other driver is upset or acting aggressively after a car accident, don’t get upset. Just stay calm and try to diffuse any hostility.
2) Don’t engage with the unreasonable party- If the other driver continues to be difficult, irate, and does not provide you with the required insurance information, don’t continue to engage. Instead, step back and wait for the police to arrive.
3) Try to record all the information you can-While waiting for the police, try to record as much information as you can. If you are worried about the hostile party leaving the scene of the car accident, remember, your safety comes first. Remain in your vehicle and gather things like the license plate and description of the other party and their vehicle.
