According to a spokesman for the Corpus Christi Police Department, the single vehicle accident happened around 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018 in Calallen, an area in north Corpus Christi. The car accident in Calallen happened in the southbound lanes of Interstate Highway 37 near Callicoate Road. The driver of the car did suffer personal injuries as a result of the auto accident and was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
