A 10-year-old boy bitten by a dog child while playing football with a friend continues to recover according to Cedar Park Patch.
Details of the Incident
The Cedar Park, Texas child was playing with a neighborhood friend when he was attacked by a boxer-terrier mix dog. The incident happened in the early evening of Wednesday, November 28, 2018. The attack was so severe that the dog had to be pulled off the boy by a passerby. According to reports, the dog escaped from its owner’s property as the owner retrieved her mail. Police say the dog has no prior history of violence. The owner had since been directed to quarantine the animal. They explained that a pet could only be taken from its owner if animal control officials deemed the animal as being a threat to public safety, otherwise it is returned to the owner after the period of quarantine.
