According to KZTV 10 in Corpus Christi, a pedestrian was involved in a car accident during the early hours of July 4, 2018, after he was hit by a car near SPID and Weber.
Details of the Corpus Christi car crash
Shortly before 4 am on July 4, 2018, Corpus Christi Police Department were called to the scene of a car accident where a pedestrian had been hit by an SUV. According to authorities, a man, dressed in dark clothing was walking near the intersection of Weber and SPID in Corpus Christi, when he was struck by a Toyota Sequoia. According to police, the pedestrian was not walking in a designated crosswalk area, so the driver of the vehicle that hit the pedestrian, was not ticketed for the incident. The police did note, that the area was poorly lit, possibly contributing to the car crash. The pedestrian was injured and transferred to Christus Spohn Hospital Shoreline.
