Multiple lanes of State Highway 358 near Kostoryz Road were closed on Tuesday morning as Corpus Christi police worked to clear the scene of an auto accident, Corpus Christi Caller Times reports.

Police were called to the scene of a Corpus Christi car accident involving multiple vehicles on State Highway 358 at about 7:50 a.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Officers that responded to the call closed two lanes of the freeway while they worked to remove the vehicles involved in the accident, Lt. Michael Pena said. The lanes were swiftly reopened within 20 minutes. The cause of the car crash in Corpus was not immediately known, as officers continued their investigations at the time of this blog.
