The accident happened around 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. According to authorities, a teenager driving a pickup truck failed to yield the right of way when he crashed head-on into a car carrying four passengers. All four occupants of the car were taken to the hospital. Two of the occupants including a one-year-old child died at the hospital as a result of their injuries. The two other passengers are in critical but stable condition.
