According to him, he had little time to react before the impact. The wrong way driver did not stop to help.
The idea behind the CCPD program is for residents of Corpus Christi to report drivers who should not be on the road. According to KIII-TV, police Lt. Michael Pena described the program as one that would strengthen communication within the community. All a driver had to do to report a dangerous driver is to mail the police department a basic description of the dangerous driver. According to CCPD, the emails will go to patrol captains, traffic session lieutenants, and traffic engineering to address the issue, hopefully in real time.
