On Wednesday, September 26, 2018, an 18-year-old woman was driving a black Ford Mustang east on SPID near Old Brownsville Road, when she lost control of her car, causing a car accident in Corpus Christi resulting in possible personal injuries. According to Corpus Christi Police, the car veered off the road and went through the grass before hitting a truck driving on the access road, causing it to roll over, creating a violent auto accident in Corpus Christi. The driver of the Mustang was taken to the hospital following the Corpus Christi car accident. The other occupant of the vehicle, a 16-year-old was not injured.
